We are looking for a talented in-house Junior Graphic Designer to join our busy and expanding Communications and Marketing Team.It’s a very exciting and varied role with lots of key areas to work on from theatres, events and festivals to waste and recycling, public health and much more. The successful candidate will need to be a good ‘all-rounder’, able to create professional and engaging graphics to support the huge variety of services offered by the council whilst maintaining and enhancing the council’s brand. You will need to be able to produce effective designs for a range of areas including video, animation, social media, campaigns, branding, reports, event dressing and signage as well as the council’s magazine Medway Matters. Your design skills will need to be supported by good time management and administration skills as you will need to handle multiple jobs on the go at once. Good communication skills are also key as you will need to liaise with team members, clients and external suppliers throughout the design process.The role would suit someone with at least one year’s industry experience, alongside a relevant degree who has a creative spark with the technical skills to back it up. Are you up for a challenge? We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to work as part of the Dartford Borough Council Park Ranger Team within the highly respected, busy multi-functional Council Waste, Public Realm &amp; Enforcement Services section.
This is a uniformed role, working as part of a small team. Your focus will be on the Dartford Parks, other children’s playgrounds and open spaces and patrolling the Buccaneer Bay playground in Central Park, to a rota with other Park Rangers / Officers.
You will provide guardianship, security, reassurance and assistance to the public and be the eyes and ears of the Council and Police partners providing a friendly public face for the public. You will enforce byelaws and other relevant legislation including the issuing of Fixed Penalty Notices for offending behaviour such as dog fouling, littering, fly tipping, fly grazing and behaviour contained within the town’s Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). You will be required to assist in dealing with unauthorised encampments, the use of surveillance cameras and public events that occur throughout the year within the Borough’s parks and open spaces. This is a physically active role which involves patrolling parks and open spaces on foot, the moving and siting of various items of heavy equipment. You will provide a reassuring presence and assistance to park users, prevent and deter anti-social behaviour.
Occasional evening and Bank Holiday working will be required, for which an allowance is paid.
Patrolling is both on foot and with use of 4x4 vehicles to move between sites as necessary. You may be required to attend at Court if and when required. You will work with other agencies such as Kent Police and the Environment Agency and you will also be involved, on occasions, with the work of other Council officers who deal with parks and open spaces, enforcement, events, licencing, town centre management and will also assist other Enforcement Officers as directed.&nbsp;
You should hold a full driving licence. Previous experience of working in a law enforcement, security, community support or similar role is desirable.&nbsp;

As Deputy Head of Service – Mental Health , you will be central to making our new Integrated Mental Health Service (IMHS) pathways work in practice. The IMHS brings together social care and health colleagues in partnership with East London Foundation Trust (ELFT).
You will be responsible for:

<li>Providing operational leadership to embed the new IMHS structure and ensuring high-quality, legally compliant decision-making.</li>
<li>Driving strong partnership working within the integrated health and social care environment.</li>
<li>Balancing operational delivery with strategic thinking, including redesigning services in the context of financial challenge.</li>
<li>Championing a culture of continuous improvement and a strengths-based, anti-racist approach.</li>
<li>Overseeing the effectiveness of the service pathways, including Initial Response, Longer-term Support, and the AMHP Service .</li>
</ul>
About You: Strategic Manager &amp; Qualified Social Worker
We seek a senior manager who leads by example, with a commitment to intersectionality and anti-racism.
You must bring:
A qualified social worker status with a valid professional registration.
A strong foundation in social care practice and proven experience working in integrated health and social care environments.
In-depth knowledge of key legislation – particularly the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental

A proven ability to balance operational delivery with strategic thinking.
