About the Role The purpose of this role is to provide services to housing applicants and tenants. To administer the functions and carry out the responsibilities of the Lettings Agency in accordance with the Council policies, procedure and the appropriate legislation. Post holder’s will be placed in a team responsible for designated duties within the range covered by this post as determined by the Lettings Agency Manager in line with fluctuations I work demands and priorities that may change from time to time. The range of duties could include promotion of alternative housing options; support for vulnerable people; mobility schemes; RSL nominations; allocation of permanent and other housing vacancies; administration of the Housing Register; investigation and verification of applicants details; determination of eligibility within the Council’s allocations policy. To be successful in this role you must have: A good working understanding and awareness of local housing demand and the needs of residents. Knowledge of Housing Acts in relation to Letting of Social Housing. A good understanding of Immigration guidelines in respect of eligibility for social housing. Awareness of welfare benefits and eligibility Minimum of two years’ experience of working in a team within a housing Lettings service environment. The key area of responsibility for this position will be to lead on running the Council’s monthly payroll service, ensuring that each stage of the payroll process is completed.
The responsibilities within this role will be managing compliance checks to ensure all payroll processes are accurate and timely, and appropriate information are provided to our pension schemes, HMRC and other statutory bodies.
The expectation for this post will be to act as the Council’s specialist in payroll data analysis across Oracle HCM payroll systems, and to form part of the technical design of all payroll processes and systems to ensure value for money.
The Person&nbsp;&nbsp; Brent Council are looking for proactive payroll specialists with integrity and confidence to support their application of Oracle Cloud HCM and Payroll configuration skills.

We are looking for a great communicator and practical problem solver, with experience in health and wellbeing client-facing roles, to join our friendly team and deliver the role of a Health and Housing Co-ordinator. Biodiversity Officer
Salary £31,368-£37,298 pa plus essential user car allowance

Neighbourhood Services, which provides a high proportion of front-line services for Spelthorne Borough Council, including refuse collection, street cleansing and grounds maintenance, are advertising for a full-time Biodiversity Officer to work at our Whitehouse Depot in Kingston Road, Ashford and other Council owned sites.




Working within our busy Neighbourhood Services office, you will manage the SSSI’s which fall under the council’s management along with other sites of ecological significance. You’ll also be responsible for the management of the common land in the borough.




You will lead on environmentally focused projects as required to meet statutory duties and enable community participation. You will also provide a primary point of contact for general ecological queries both externally and internally.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Please note that as part of the employment checks, this post has an essential car user allowance attached to it. A valid driving licence, and access to a vehicle insured for business use will be required.
