Early Help responds to the emerging needs of children and their families, focusing on building their resilience as well as providing help at a time when evidence indicates that support can have the most impact. Coventry continues to invest in the Early Help Service and is proud of the work that is delivered by a multi-agency team from the 8 Family Hubs located in the communities across the city

What is the job role?

Are you passionate about supporting children, young people and families to thrive? Join our Family Hub team and play a vital role in delivering early help services that improve lives and strengthen communities.

In this rewarding role, you'll build positive relationships with families, deliver engaging group activities, provide practical support and guidance, and work closely with partner organisations to ensure families receive the help they need. Using a whole-family approach, you'll empower parents, carers and young people to reach their full potential.

This role is fixed-term until March 2029.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience working directly with children, young people and families. You'll have a good understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the challenges families can face, as well as the ability to build positive relationships and engage families in meaningful support.

You'll be a confident communicator who can work independently and as part of a multi-agency team, using evidence-based approaches to help families achieve positive outcomes. If you're passionate about making a difference, supporting families to thrive, and working collaboratively with local partners, we'd love to hear from you.
