About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Instructor to join our Multi Activity Centre team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will deliver high-quality outdoor activity sessions while supporting the day-to-day operation of the centre.
You will lead a range of land- and water-based activities, supervise instructors, and ensure all sessions meet required safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, engaging, and high-quality activity sessions to a wide range of clients
- Lead, supervise, and support Instructors and Lead Instructors
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the activity centre
- Provide staff briefings, debriefings, and ongoing coaching
- Support staff training, development, and rostering
- Maintain and manage activity equipment (e.g. boats, climbing gear)
- Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and operating procedures
About You
You will be a confident and capable outdoor professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
Essential requirements:
- Recognised outdoor activity qualifications (minimum one required, e.g. RYA Dinghy Senior Instructor, Paddlesport Instructor, Climbing Wall Instructor, or equivalent)
- Valid First Aid qualification (Outdoor or First Aid at Work)
- Full UK driving licence
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience in outdoor instruction or a similar role
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Ability to work with a wide range of participants
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
