In addition to the salary stated, this role attracts an essential car user allowance which is £963.00&nbsp;per annum with 40.9p per mile paid.
The successful candidate will hold a clean, current driving licence and use of their own car.
You will contribute to the delivery of an efficient and effective Building Control service for the Borough, including taking decisions of allocated Building Regulation applications, notices and matters allocated by the Building Control Manager, enabling the delivery of quality developments in line with legislation, industry performance guidelines and internal targets.

You must bring:
Experience of working with adults with mental health needs in a health or social care setting. Strong understanding of prevention, reablement, and recovery-focused approaches. Experience of supervising, mentoring, or supporting staff in a team environment. Excellent communication, organisational skills, and the ability to build positive relationships.
A relevant vocational qualification in health or social care is an advantage.
An Enhanced DBS is required.

We have vacancies for Experienced Qualified Social Workers (PO2-PO3) and AMHPs (PO4) who contribute to the rota. You will be trusted to apply your professional expertise and autonomy while being part of a supportive team structure.

About You: Essential Criteria

You must possess:
A Social Work England recognised qualification and current registration.
A strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible, reflective approach to practice.
Please note: These positions are only for currently practicing social workers, as the IMHS is not able to offer the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) in this first year.
