Join our Integrated Mental Health Service (IMHS), a Section 75 partnership with East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) , and play a key leadership role in shaping meaningful change for our residents.
The Role: Your Leadership Impact
We're seeking a Senior Support Worker to supervise a team of mental health support workers within the IMHS. This role is centred on early intervention, prevention, and reablement, maximising independence and reducing reliance on statutory services.
You will:
- Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to support workers, ensuring high quality, person-centred interventions.
 - Lead on early intervention and preventative approaches that support recovery.
 - Screen referrals to identify and allocate the most appropriate support worker input across the service.
 - Work directly with residents and carers to promote wellbeing and social inclusion.
 - Collaborate effectively with social workers, health colleagues, and wider partners to ensure a joined-up response.
 
About You: Key Skills
We’re looking for someone with a passion for recovery-focused work and a commitment to Hackney’s core values.
You must bring:
Experience of working with adults with mental health needs in a health or social care setting. Strong understanding of prevention, reablement, and recovery-focused approaches. Experience of supervising, mentoring, or supporting staff in a team environment. Excellent communication, organisational skills, and the ability to build positive relationships.
A relevant vocational qualification in health or social care is an advantage.
An Enhanced DBS is required.
