This is a vital role where you’ll be the first point of contact for concerns about a child’s safety or welfare, ensuring timely and effective responses that make a real difference.
In this role, you will take, log, and progress referrals from members of the public and professionals, working within prescribed timescales to assess risk and need. You’ll gather relevant information from families and partner agencies, provide clear analysis and recommendations, and coordinate next steps – whether that’s escalation for statutory intervention or signposting to early help services. Your work will ensure that children receive the right support at the right time.
You’ll also arrange multi-agency meetings, liaise with professionals across health, education, and social care, and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality. You’ll often be supporting families in distress, so empathy and resilience are essential.

Experience in children’s services or a similar environment is desirable, as is knowledge of safeguarding procedures and multi-agency working. About the role…
As a MiCare Support Worker you:
<ul>
<li>Provide support to adults to develop and maintain activities of daily living, including personal care.</li>
<li>Support people to undertake a range of social care tasks such as washing, dressing/undressing, showering, and bathing, meal preparation, domestic activities and engaging in community activities.</li>
<li>Undertake a range of delegated health care tasks as required such as prompt prescribed medication, supporting the application of prescribed creams, eye and ear drops, catheter care and prompting exercise as prescribed by the physiotherapist.</li>
</ul>
As this is a community based role, it is essential that you have a full UK driving license and access to a car to enable you to travel around Rutland county.
Basic pay of £12.85 - £13.05 per hour, Saturdays at £19.28 - £19.59 per hour, Sundays and bank holidays at £25.70 - £26.11 per hour.&nbsp; 
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, however, if you have the passion and commitment to help and support others then we can offer you a comprehensive induction and a tailored training plan, with support to undertake the QCF Diploma and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications fully funded by us!

We are recruiting for a Bereavement Services Officer to assist with the day-to-day operation and provision of the service including, Cremation and Burial paperwork, leased memorials, filing, typing; to provide cover for sickness and leave: to assist with reception duties and to provide support to the Cremation Technicians, which could include training to carry out cremations. Regeneration Division is looking for a dynamic individual with a proven track record of driving cultural change and ready to make a difference from day one. The successful candidate will provide operational leadership for the Council’s Facilities Management (FM) function, overseeing the delivery of high‑quality FM services including planned and reactive maintenance, compliance, and minor works, while ensuring our business assets meet all legal and regulatory standards. As part of this role, the postholder will work closely alongside the Technical Services Manager, Capital Programme Manager, and Marine Assets Manager, collaborating across disciplines to ensure a cohesive, efficient, and forward‑thinking approach to asset and service management. A key responsibility will be leading significant change management activity associated with the insourcing of staff transferring from the current Joint Venture, ensuring a smooth transition, embedding new ways of working, and shaping a positive, unified team culture.
