We are looking for an experienced Technical Officer to help manage and maintain Sheffield’s carriageways, footways and drainage assets through our Highway Maintenance PFI Contract.You will provide technical advice, support maintenance programmes, monitor contractor performance, review scheme designs and help ensure our highway network is safe, well managed and fit for the future.We are looking for someone with strong highways maintenance experience, good knowledge of relevant standards and legislation, and the ability to work confidently with contractors, colleagues, elected Members and local communities.If you want to play a key role in shaping Sheffield’s highway network and delivering high-quality maintenance services, we would welcome your application.
