We are looking for a motivated and organised Community Resilience Coordinator to join our Family Hubs and lead the planning, delivery and quality assurance of the Family Hub Crisis and Resilience fund offer across Solihull’s Early Help partnership.

The role will ensure that a consistent, accessible, community based offer is available for families with children aged 0–19. They will work closely with partners across statutory, community and voluntary sectors, and will support the development of a programme of early intervention to prevent families reaching crisis point.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape how partners across Solihull support parents and carers, ensuring that every family has access to the right help at the right time.

About the role

As our Community Resilience Coordinator, you will support families to access support to increase their resilience, build skills and offer practical support before they reach crisis point.

The role will be key in developing strong working relationships with key partners including employment and skills team, schools, Family Hubs, health visitors, midwives, voluntary/community organisations and social care teams.

The post holder will also work directly with families, supporting them to build their skills, resilience and improve their mental health by accessing a range of support which this post will help them navigate.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience delivering or coordinating community programmes.

  • Is highly organised, confident in managing schedules and data, and able to prioritise effectively.
  • Can build strong working relationships with families, partners and practitioners.
  • Is committed to inclusive, strengths‑based practice and high‑quality support for families.

Why work with us?

At Solihull, we are committed to giving families the support they need as early as possible. You will be part of a positive, supportive and forward‑thinking team dedicated to delivering excellent Early Help services.

We offer:

  • A friendly and collaborative working culture
  • Professional development and training opportunities
  • Flexible working arrangements (where service needs allow)
  • A chance to shape an evolving, borough‑wide parenting support system
  • A comprehensive training and development programme
  • Generous annual leave entitlements with opportunity to buy up to 10 days additional leave per year
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme – a 24 hour independent, free and confidential advice and support service
  • Family and carer friendly policies
  • Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Employee benefits including subsidised travel passes, Cycle 2 Work Scheme and staff discounts

If you are passionate about supporting families and want to help build a confident parenting workforce across Solihull, we would love to hear from you.
