Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) / Aspiring HLTA with Pastoral Lead Responsibilities

Defford and Besford CE Primary School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and nurturing HLTA, or an experienced Teaching Assistant who would like to work towards HLTA status, to join our committed team. This is a varied role combining classroom support and teaching responsibilities with a key pastoral lead aspect, supporting children’s wellbeing, attendance and engagement. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusion, able to build positive relationships with pupils and families, and committed to helping every child thrive.
