About the Role
A vacancy has arisen for a Systems Engineer on a 12hr shift pattern within the Maintenance Delivery team based at the Asset Management location at the Kingsway Tunnel in Wallasey.
As a member of the Systems Engineers team, the postholder will respond to all electrical/electronic systems based planned maintenance and reactive tasks safely, and in the agreed time across the Mersey Tunnels and wider LCRCA estate as necessary. The post will be supervised by the Principal Officer - Works Delivery.
About the person
The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills with the ability to fault find, configure and modify IT based plant and monitoring equipment.
Candidates must have a flexible and can-do approach that would support the organisational behaviours of LCR First, Respect, and Action Focussed.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

In Redbridge we believe that we are an innovative service that responds directly to our local needs. This is an exciting time for a qualified EMHP to join our MHST in Redbridge. Our MHST is expanding to offer a service to more schools and partners, providing opportunity to form new relationships with educational settings, as well as maintaining our established relationships with schools.
You will work alongside our current EMHPs to deliver low-intensity interventions to children, young people and their families. This will consist of both individual and group work. You will also work with your assigned schools/colleges to support their whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing.
EMHPs work closely with EPs in schools as well as driving and supporting change with our local authority and health care partners across the borough. Job Title: Data &amp; Performance Analyst Starting Salary: £33,366 progressing to £36,124 per annum (pro rata for part time) – pay award pending Hours: 37.0 Location: Stevenage Contract Type: Permanent Directorate: Childrens Services<h4>About the team</h4>If you want to use your passion for data, information and performance to help make a difference for children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities or other vulnerable learners, then you may be a great fit for this role.We support teams and services across our Inclusion and Skills directorate at an operational and strategic level to develop, maintain and monitor consistent datasets and dashboards that provide insight and intelligence and provide day to day management information as well as informing strategic improvement and transformation.You’ll work within a committed team of analysts and alongside a wide range of colleagues from operational services, IT leads and improvement teams to help deliver performance monitoring and reporting from our Liquid Logic case management systems as well as a range of other national and local data sources so that we have good visibility of our measurement of outcomes, inputs, outputs and service user experience.<h4>About the role</h4>In your role you will:<ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and support data-driven decision-making processes.</li><li>Update and maintain regular management information, reporting and dashboards to support operational teams, services and strategic SEND and Inclusion leads.</li><li>Interpret data and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner through reports, visualisations, and presentations.</li><li>Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data</li><li>Perform ad-hoc analysis and respond to data-related queries from stakeholders including supporting responses to Freedom of Information requests.</li><li>Support our development of Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as other reporting to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights</li><li>Support the data and information requirements for relevant statutory returns and similar requirements such as Ofsted/CQC inspections.</li><li>Promote a culture of evidence-based decision making by forming strong relationships with service leads and teams to discuss insight, inform planning and support the confidence of colleagues to use data and information effectively.</li></ul>It’s an exciting time to be joining us as we move forward ambitious plans for ‘Making SEND Everybody’s Business in Hertfordshire’ that will grow our teams working with children and young people with SEND and strive to improve the quality of our Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs), develop a strong and consistent approach to decision-making about EHCPs with our partners; and create trusted relationships with families and partners and improve our communications.You might support this or similar initiatives by:Ensuring data recording practice in new or upgraded case management system modules are aligned with the service’s reporting needs before new functionality goes live i.e. performance measures are specified up front and their supporting reports and Power BI Dashboards are developed and included in User Acceptance Testing.<ul><li>Working with teams to provide the regular management information they need to make operational decisions about service delivery.</li><li>Working as part of a project team to introduce new systems for example relating to real-time attendance, suspension, and exclusion data.</li><li>Identifying key targets with service leads and working with them to monitor progress towards achieving them.</li></ul><h4>About you</h4>Essential:<ul><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to organise, analyse, and interpret information from a range of sources.</li><li>Experience with data visualisation and ideally in using tools such as Power BI.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a variety of colleagues and partners including non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment</li></ul>Desirable:<ul><li>A knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, Inclusion and Skills or Children’s Services would be an advantage but is not essential.</li></ul>We welcome applications from candidates who currently reside in the UK with established proof of right to work documentation.
