You will be involved in every aspect of the young people’s care. You will work in partnership with the young people’s parents / carers, our local special schools, social workers and our health colleagues to ensure that the young people experience the best care.</span></p><p><span>Due to the complexity of the young people’s disabilities the work can be challenging at times, but also very rewarding.</span></p><p><span>Do you have the resilience to work with children who have behaviours that challenge or complex health needs?</span></p><p><span>Can you be flexible with your working hours? This role may include working weekends and overnight shifts.</span></p><p><span>As a worker at Rainbow Lodge, you will be part of the Specialist Community Disability Service 0 – 24 working alongside social workers and social work resource officers to provide children with disabilities and their families the support that they need.</span></p><p><span>Children’s Residential Care Workers at Rainbow Lodge will be involved in the day-to-day care of children with disabilities, this will include undertaking personal care, promoting the children’s health, education, relationships with their family and friends.
