Hastings Borough Council is seeking an experienced Programme Manager work with the interim board on the Plan for Neighbourhoods programme.
The Plan for Neighbourhoods is an exciting opportunity for Hastings to receive £20 million of investment from the Government, driven by the local community. An interim Hastings Board has been established to lead on the programme and will be responsible for developing the Plan for Neighbourhoods, a 10-year vision which clearly identifies the longer-term priorities for Hastings and 4-year Investment Plan.
The Board, together with the Programme Manager, needs to drive priorities from a range of investment options in conjunction with the local community and statutory bodies.&nbsp;
The programme has a 75% capital 25% revenue monetary split. It is expected the programme of activities and interventions will take a place-based approach, empowering and working with local communities to shape, influence and deliver the range of investment activities to achieve positive change in Hastings neighbourhoods. The interventions selected could be delivered with a mix of partners including from the community, voluntary, statutory and private sector organisations.&nbsp;
The Programme Manager will cover the whole of Hastings with a relative focus on the most disadvantaged areas as agreed by the Hastings Board. Interventions will focus on investment themes as outlined in the Plan for Neighbourhoods prospectus published by the government.

Guildford Borough Council provides through its DLO services to tenants and leaseholders, together with delivering an out of hours service to residents and dealing with issues within the borough that require emergency support.
We have created this two-year fixed term contract to provide support to the Operational Lead for the DLO who is responsible for the overall delivery of all services. This role will focus in particular on the range of minor works capital projects that the DLO are now starting to deliver, together with taking the lead role for the organisation and management of quotations for works either delivered directly by the DLO or by its supply chain, to ensure value for money and a clear audit trail, which can be evidenced through quality assurance measures.
This is an exciting and challenging role that will assist and inform the DLO in its modernisation process. The role will support the Operational Lead and will also work closely with the Head of Repairs and is linked to the wider transformation process that is being undertaken across Housing Services.

The Role
Knowsley Council are seeking an exceptional SEND Team Manager to join our Inclusion Team.
As SEND Team Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of statutory SEND functions including assessment, reviews, disagreement resolution, and placement planning. &nbsp;You will have line management responsibility of our dedicated SEND team, ensuring legal compliance, high-quality practice, and positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
You will be pivotal to driving forward service improvements within your area, working closely with the leadership team, as well as collaborating with families, settings and partner agencies to deliver high quality, person focused outcomes.
The Person
As SEND Team Manager you will be a dynamic thinker, with demonstrable experience working in SEND, either in education, social care, or health. You will have excellent knowledge of the Children and Families legislation with the ability to drive forward multi agency working and an understanding and commitment to person centred approaches.

Contract Type: Permanent Directorate: Childrens Services<h4>About the team</h4>The School Age Statutory SEND Services was formed in 2024 as part of the councils "Making SEND Everyone’s Business Programme" and now consists of approx. 100 staff.Our service oversees the annual review of these EHCP’s and the associated casework that sits alongside this, including placement sourcing, funding allocations and engagement with parents/carers and education settings.<h4>About the role</h4>The post of Service Manager is responsible for half of the School Age Statutory SEND Service (East or West) with your counterpart responsible for the other half. The School Age Statutory SEND Service is responsible for 9,000+ (May 2025) children and young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who are of statutory school age.A key post that acts as the link between operational managers and the strategic Head of Service, a role the Service Manager also deputises for. You will line manage Casework Managers (who each manage a quadrant of Hertfordshire).&nbsp;The service manager School Age Statutory SEND reports to the Head of School Age Statutory SEND, taking the lead on delivering Hertfordshire’s statutory duties around EHC plan reviews and provision in a way that supports positive outcomes for children, young people and families through effective coproduction and multi-agency working.This role will involve frequent contact with other HCC services as well as external contacts too. Examples of these include Headteachers, SENCo’s, Social Workers, Health commissioners, other Statutory SEND Services and families.This role will see the post holder:<ul><li>Lead on high quality practice for statutory EHCP reviews, aligning to the strategic objectives set for the service, with a particular focus on quality and timeliness.</li><li>Be a subject matter expert and point of escalation within the service for matters relating to SEND. </li><li>Advocate for the interests and wellbeing of children and young people at all times and have clear oversight and understanding of front-line practice, service delivery, systems and feedback from children and families.</li><li>Oversee brokerage activity and top up funding related to EHC plans, including management of related budgets, to ensure effective use of public funds. </li><li>Responsible for effective recruitment, retention, management and development of high quality staff to support annual review processes, ensuring quality and coproduction at every stage of a review. </li><li>Be responsible for building partnership networks with commissioners, partners in social care including the 0 – 25 team and the Virtual School; and therapy services on behalf of school age statutory SEND. </li><li>Ensure high quality arrangements for individual coproduction with families and young people in reviews.</li><li>Support the Head of Service with strategic projects relating to Statutory SEND and act as deputy in their absence.</li><li>Be an accountable member of the SEND leadership team to ensure that high quality service is delivered in a changing landscape.</li></ul> <h4>About you</h4>Essential:<ul><li>Educated to degree level or equivalent</li><li>Senior leadership experience in a school or local authority</li><li>In depth knowledge of SEND statutory legislation and frameworks, to a skill level that will enable you to advise other managers on matters related to SEND</li><li>Full UK driving licence and regular access to own vehicle</li></ul>&nbsp;We welcome applications from candidates who currently reside in the UK with established proof of right to work documentation.
