About you, and your responsibilities:&nbsp;
You might have experience from a Local Authority background, from a school, college, or Early Years background, you might come from a Health Service or third sector background too. The Council adopted its own Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) in April 2021, providing an important new mechanism to support the infrastructure ambitions of the borough. The Council is also the collecting authority for the Mayor of London’s CIL.
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Delivery Team Leader to lead the Infrastructure Delivery Team and play a critical role in securing funding from new development; and ensuring that new developments implement improvements to infrastructure and services that are agreed as part of planning permissions.​
About the role
In this role, your main responsibility will be to lead and manage the Infrastructure Delivery Team responsible for all CIL and Section 106 processes. This includes the administration and collection of CIL and Section 106 payments for the Borough; and the post-collection allocation and spending of funds, including the ongoing development of a Neighbourhood CIL spend process.
The postholder will lead on the development and implementation of processes for the collection of the forthcoming Building Safety Levy; and will be involved with the development of the new Bromley Local Plan, particularly with regard to evidence base development related to infrastructure.
The Team Leader post will have line management responsibility for two Infrastructure Delivery Officers and will report directly to the Head of Planning Policy and Strategy. The post holder will work closely with colleagues in the Planning Policy and Design &amp; Conservation teams which also sit within the Planning Policy and Strategy service; and will also work with other departments across the Council including Development Management, Finance, Housing and Regeneration.
The successful candidate will represent the Planning Policy and Strategy service at various internal and external meetings, including Council committee meetings; and will also be required to deputise for the Head of Planning Policy and Strategy in relation to infrastructure delivery matters, as and when required.
What we offer
This is an MG6 grade role, with a salary range of £47,536 to £71,302. It is a full-time, permanent role, based on a 36-hour working week. The role is based at Bromley Civic Centre (opposite Bromley South station). We offer hybrid working arrangements, with the current expectation that the post holder will be in the office for at least 2 days per week.

As an Integrated Front Door (IFD) Support Officer in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team including police, health, education and social workers. The IFD team is the access point to Children's Social Care in West Sussex.
In this role, you will be a member of this multi-agency team with the responsibility for gathering information to inform decisions about the level of need for a child or young person into Children's social care. You will provide a recommendation for the appropriate outcomes, while ensuring that practice is compliant with statutory responsibilities and that the child or young person is not at immediate risk of harm.
The work will involve regular contact with people who access or need the service who may present challenging behaviours, and/or subject matter which may be distressing, for example, dealing with vulnerable individuals and families or those with complex problems.

We are looking to recruit two full time Civil Enforcement Officers.&nbsp;
This is a challenging and rewarding job if you enjoy working outdoors and dealing with the public. You will be part of a successful team, which holds the Customer Service Excellence Award.
You will be advising and assisting members of the public regarding the parking facilities and enforcing the parking restrictions.
You will need to patrol significant distances and be able to access confined spaces in between cars. You will be required to travel around Guildford and Waverley boroughs to enforce Traffic Regulation Orders.
This would be accomplished using the Council’s vans and scooters for which you must have a valid full driving licence to drive manual gear cars in the UK and successfully pass the Council's internal driving assessment. You must hold, or be willing to gain, a Compulsory Basic Training certificate to allow use of the Council’s mopeds / scooters. It is essential that you have a courteous, helpful, and confident manner and that you are an effective communicator.
A 37-hour week is worked including Saturdays and Bank Holidays working an early and late shift basis. At present Sunday is worked on a voluntary basis.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
