We are currently recruiting a full time AMPH to contribute to the delivery of our highly effective AMHP Team, based within Adult Social Care. The service is delivered using a strength based, personalised approach to assessments, ensuring the individual remains at the centre of all interventions. You will be required to act as an Approved Mental Health Professional providing a statutory Mental Health Act Assessment service, encompassing all client groups and including the provision of advice, in order to meet the immediate needs of the individuals involved and to achieve the best outcome. You will also need to provide precise information to service users and others about their rights in relation to MHA interventions and facilitate access to appropriate advocacy and advice networks including the IMHA and IMCA services.The successful candidates will be responsible for triaging referrals, allocation of assessments, undertaking Mental Health Act assessments and chairing the daily allocations meeting on a regular basis. This role will also involve undertaking the role of Social Supervisor for conditionally discharged patients to fulfil our statutory responsibility for clients who are subject to Part 3 of the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended 2007). The successful applicant will also be responsible for the supervision and appraisal process of newly qualified AMHP’s in line with the statutory requirements, as well as the supervision and support of staff undertaking the AMHP training. A position has arisen for an enthusiastic individual with great communication skills to join our Town Planning administration and support withing the Development Management service, based at the Town Hall, Brentwood. &nbsp;The Planning Administration team handles the administrative and technical process involved in the submission, registration, validation, notification and determination of the 1200 + planning and related applications received each year, as well as various tasks associated with planning appeals.&nbsp;
Based at the Town Hall offices in Brentwood Town Centre for essential training, meetings and support with the possibility for hybrid arrangements, you will be part of a busy and proactive team, working in a paperless environment. &nbsp;Initially dealing with validation and registration of planning applications and enforcement cases, you will also provide administrative support to both the Admin Team Leader and Planning Officers throughout the application process, including preparations for Planning Committee meetings. Administrative duties in connection with the issuing of notices for the collection of Community Infrastructure Levy payments is also a requirement of the role.&nbsp;

Job DescriptionSalary: £37,815 - £43,083 per annumGrade EPermanent&nbsp;37 Hours per WeekWe are seeking an exceptional, engaging &amp; committed individual to join us as a Highway Licensing Officer.&nbsp;This role is a varied and exciting opportunity to work within a fast-evolving Network Management Team and play a pivotal role in the management of the road network. &nbsp;The successful candidate will be at the forefront of helping to co-ordinate and facilities works within the Borough and help the broader Highways Team. &nbsp;Working within a team of dedicated, skilled professionals you will have a key role in assisting the Network Management Team in delivering the modernisation agenda for the network management function.The successful candidate will manage all licensing undertaken by the network management team, including but not limited to scaffolding, hoarding, section 171 and section 50 licences, ensuring that all legal duties are met, and accurate records kept. The role will soon include skip and table &amp; chair licenses.
