We are seeking a confident and capable manager to join our Children’s Data and Insights Team, supporting the day to day operational, and ongoing development of reporting and analytics across the Children’s Services directorate.

As the Data and Insights Team Manager you will lead a small team of analysts whilst also working closely with transformation, technology, and system specialists to support the development of reporting and performance management activities across the directorate.

You will provide expert knowledge and operational leadership, ensuring that the team is appropriately resourced, that priorities are regularly reviewed, and that quality and accuracy of work is maintained.

You will manage a wide portfolio of analytical work across the Children’s Services department, working closely with the Business Intelligence Manager to ensure that the most appropriate tools and technologies are used and that new opportunities for innovation are explored.

This role would suit an excellent communicator who understands the importance of collaboration across a range of stakeholders and has a sound understanding of reporting tools and data analysis,

You will need to have a degree level qualification (level 6) in a relevant Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths (STEM) subject or able to demonstrate equivalent and substantial professional experience.

A Basic DBS (Disclosure barring service) check will be required for this post.
