
Lunchtime Supervisor Assistant - Park Hill Primary
Park Hill Primary are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant who have a real passion for working with children.
What is the job role?Ensuring the supervision, safety and welfare of pupils during their mid-day break: in the dinner areas, playground and circulation areas.
Assisting with the setting out and clearing away of tables before and after lunch, clearing tables and disposing of waste food and drink.
Improving children’s enjoyment of lunchtime, by setting up and leading play activities, this will include supervising games, encouraging appropriate use of equipment both on the playground and in the classrooms (during wet play)
Managing and promoting positive behaviour of children.
Who are we looking for?The successful candidate will:
- work part of a team with good interpersonal skills and able to multi-task in a busy environment
- is reliable and punctual
- have a calm, consistent and fair approach when responding to children's needs
- be able to communicate effectively with young children
- be committed to the safeguarding of children
- be able to support children in their play, friendships and development of their social skills
