Public Protection – Protecting our Community

We have a great opportunity for a Anti Social Behaviour Reduction Officer to join our esteemed Community Safety Team!

You'll be an integral part of our small anti-social behaviour team, collaborating seamlessly with various services across both the Council and Wiltshire Police. The role is as dynamic as it is fascinating, and you'll find unwavering support from colleagues in the Public Protection department, within which Community Safety sits, and wider council.

As an Anti Social Behaviour Reduction Officer you will be key in supporting prevention programmes for ASB, crime and disorder, ASB case management and broader community safety plans that keep our communities safe and feeling safe for residents. You will work closely with partners such as Wiltshire Police, area board managers, community safety officers and housing associations to promote problem-solving approaches to tackle issues. This may include taking enforcement action using Closure Orders, Community Protection Warnings and Notices.

We are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and determination to develop new approaches and initiatives to achieve the best possible outcomes for communities being impacted by Anti-Social Behaviour. You need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence customers, partners, and stakeholders in complex situations.

If you have the ability to manage a challenging and diverse workload to effectively meet deadlines, we would love to hear from you.

We understand that AI tools can support you in preparing job applications. However, we value authenticity and would encourage you to ensure your submission genuinely reflects your own experiences, skills, and motivations.
