Key Responsibilities:

<li>Responsible for supporting the daily delivery of programmes across the housing services whilst working with other council directorates.</li>
<li>Responsible for coordination of a strategic portfolio, working closely with the Business Change colleagues, especially the PMO and Portfolio Manager and Project Managers to ensure successful implementation and impact management.</li>
<li>Accountable for the tracking of programme level related risks across the council with appropriate escalation and facilitation of risk and assurance sessions with senior leaders to understand potential issues, seek mitigations and provide successful delivery of services.</li>

<li>Lead or contribute to spatial strategies: development, monitoring and review of the London Plan.</li>
<li>Mayor’s Briefings and reports for the Mayor, Assembly and other organisations on planning and spatial development issues.</li>
<li>Lead or contribute to the initiation, design, management and completion of relevant policy development projects and research.</li>
<li>Lead or contribute to advice on planning briefs, development proposals and the plans and strategies of other agencies especially Local Development Documents and the development plans of authorities outside London.</li>
<li>Lead or contribute to coordination, liaison and engagement processes necessary to address spatial development and planning issues.</li>
<li>Prepare responses on behalf of the GLA to complex issues raised by the public and diverse agencies.</li>
<li>Lead on or contribute to representation of the Mayor’s planning and development policies, concerns and objectives to examinations in public or representation hearings, including those into Local Development Documents, commissions and public inquiries.</li>

Technical Requirements/ Experience/ Qualifications

<li>Qualification in planning and relevant professional experience as a senior planner within a similar organisation or business environment</li>

Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) is a lifeline for children healing from the trauma of domestic abuse. From April next year, we’re expanding our service and looking for new Triage and Assessment Worker to join our team – helping guide children and families on their healing journey.
Position: Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) Triage and Assessment Worker
Location: Reading with hybrid working arrangements.
Contract: Permanent full time – 37 hours per week, weekdays.
Salary range: £25,735 - £31,453 per annum
About the role:
As Triage and Assessment Worker you will play a significant role in supporting children and families affected by domestic abuse, some of your key responsibilities will include:

<li>being the first point of contact for families referred to our service</li>
<li>conducting structured assessments to understand needs</li>
<li>providing skilled practical help and advice to enable families to reach an informed decision</li>
<li>presenting cases at internal triage meetings, providing clear recommendations for support pathways.</li>
</ul>
About you: 
As a successful Triage and Assessment Worker, you will have experience of working directly with vulnerable families, ideally within a domestic abuse, safeguarding, or trauma-informed context. You will also have experience of case management and case presentation. With excellent interpersonal skills, you'll actively listen, build trust quickly, and communicate effectively while providing a telephone-based service.
