<h2>About This Role</h2>
We’re looking for a proactive Waste Services Officer to help lead Redbridge’s waste and recycling transformation across flats, estates, HMOs, and flats above shops. This role is key to preparing for Simpler Recycling reforms and rolling out food waste services to thousands of residents.
You’ll conduct site audits, verify property data, and plan infrastructure improvements. You’ll also work closely with residents and housing partners to boost participation and reduce contamination, helping make Redbridge a cleaner, greener place to live.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Centres Manager to lead a professional team, to manage the facilities and provide tailored business growth support for its businesses whilst attracting and generating new business.&nbsp; The postholder will ensure a professional, practical and comprehensive support service is provided to clients at both HIC and HEC.
With previous experience in a similar role, the successful candidate will hold a relevant HND / degree (e.g. Business, Management, Finance, Law) or be able to demonstrate equivalent aptitude.&nbsp; You will have experience of generating income and supporting clients in a business-to-business environment and managing a team and a large budget.&nbsp; You will be professional, proactive and conscientious and have excellent sales, customer service, leadership and communication skills to ensure good working relationships are formed and be a competent user in MS Office including, Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
The role will involve taking ownership for collating and analysing data in order to produce reports and recommendations to the Corporate and Senior Management Team.
You will be a highly motivated individual who is able to use your initiative to work independently in order to solve problems and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.&nbsp; You must be able to adopt a flexible approach to your work, and occasional work outside normal office hours may be required.

Family Worker - 14.24 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Domestic Abuse Hub as a Family Worker, specifically to support families who are affected by domestic abuse.
The Domestic Abuse Hub is a multi-agency team of Police, Education, Family Workers and Independent Domestic Violence Advocates. Between us, we respond to concerns relating to domestic abuse of all levels of risk. The Hub also coordinates the MARAC process.
About the Role:
As a Family Worker, you will provide support to families on a one-to-one basis, co-facilitate group work programmes and work with adults who have caused harm.&nbsp; You will be contacting survivors of domestic abuse and helping them to implement interventions to manage the risk and reduce the trauma for their children and themselves.
About the Candidate:
You will need to have a sound knowledge base in relation to understanding the complexities of domestic abuse and be prepared to work utilising a whole family approach. You will need have undertaken training or be prepared undertake level 2 domestic abuse training.

Soft FM Manager £52,194 - £55,323 per annum This is not a hybrid role – it requires the successful candidate to be present in person in the workplace Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Soft Facilities Management Manager to lead the delivery, quality, and compliance of soft FM services across our corporate landlord portfolio. The post holder will oversee a wide range of services and contractors, ensuring our buildings remain safe, welcoming, environmentally compliant, and operationally efficient for colleagues, residents, visitors, and service users. About the Role As Soft FM Manager, you will oversee a wide range of services including cleaning, pest control, waste, security, reception, porterage, and building-related support at Newham Dockside, out HQ and a range of sites in ‘Area 1’. You’ll manage multiple service contracts, in-house teams, and suppliers—ensuring high standards, compliance, and value for money are consistently achieved. Key areas of responsibility include: <ul><li>Cleaning and window cleaning</li> <li>Pest control</li> <li>Waste and confidential waste management</li> <li>Sustainability and environmental compliance</li> <li>Security personnel and systems (CCTV, access control, guards)</li> <li>Contract monitoring, procurement, and supplier management</li> <li>Management of minor maintenance, porterage, reception, and building support services</li> <li>Ensuring buildings provide a safe, well-maintained, positive working environment</li> <li>Budget management</li> </ul> This is a highly visible role requiring strong relationship management, operational leadership, and an ability to deliver high-quality services consistently across multiple sites. About You <ul><li>Strong experience in facilities management, specifically soft FM services&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven contract management and supplier performance monitoring experience</li> <li>Good understanding of health and safety, building compliance, and environmental standards</li> <li>Excellent leadership and contract management skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills</li> <li>Proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality, customer-focused services</li> <li>Ability to work across multiple sites, build strong relationships, and deliver high-quality services</li> <li>Confidence in managing budgets, suppliers, and operational teams.</li> <li>Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to service excellence</li> </ul> Please Note: This is NOT a hybrid role, but occasional flexible working will be considered subject to the exigencies of the service.
