Roles are either ‘site based’ or ‘home based’.
Site based roles are mainly based at the workplace, with the option to work from home for up to two days a week, depending on service needs.
Home based roles are mainly based at home, with the expectation of attending the workplace up to one day a week.
The working arrangement for each role is set by the manager, based on service requirements.

Role Responsibilities- Provide consultation, assessment and intervention work to support children and young people across Milton Keynes.
- Contribute high-quality psychological advice as part of the Educational, Health and Care Needs Assessment process.
- Deliver training and professional development to schools, settings and partner agencies.
- Work collaboratively with families, schools and professionals to promote inclusion and positive outcomes.
- Contribute to service projects, strategic developments and preventative approaches.
- Support the development of guidance, resources and evidence-informed practice across the local area.
- A qualified Educational Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (or eligible for registration following completion of a recognised doctoral training programme).
- Experience of applying psychology creatively to improve outcomes for children and young people.
- Strong consultation, assessment and intervention skills across a range of settings.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with families and professionals.
- A commitment to inclusive, child-centred and family-centred practice.
- Dedicated to continuous professional development and evidence-informed approaches.
