    The role:

    2028 marks 20 years since Liverpool was European Capital of Culture - a milestone that will celebrate the city's extraordinary creative spirit, cultural heritage and global influence.

    As Assistant Creative Producer, you'll play an important role in bringing this landmark programme to life.

    We're looking for someone who combines creativity with exceptional organisation, enjoys working collaboratively and can confidently coordinate projects from concept to delivery.

    Working alongside Creative Producers, artists, partners and communities, you'll help plan and deliver an ambitious programme of arts, culture and sporting events across the city.

    From the early stages of project development through to live delivery, you'll be at the heart of making extraordinary things happen.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Supporting the planning and delivery of Liverpool's 2028 arts, culture and sporting programme
    • Providing project and administrative support, including managing timelines, budgets, contracts and reporting
    • Supporting project budgets, funding applications and sponsorship bids while helping monitor project finances alongside Creative Producers
    • Coordinating commissioning processes, including research, submissions and documentation
    • Helping tell the story of the 2028 programme by working with partners and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging
    • Building and maintaining positive relationships with artists, suppliers, communities, internal council teams and external partners, while coordinating meetings, site visits and project communications
    • Assisting with event logistics and supporting inclusive, community-focused engagement across the programme
    • Attending events as required, including occasional evenings and weekends

    About You:

    You'll enjoy supporting creative projects, balancing practical organisation with collaborative working alongside artists, creatives and partners.

    You'll Bring:

    • Experience supporting arts, culture, events or creative projects in a professional environment
    • The ability to build positive relationships with artists, creatives, partners and stakeholders in collaborative way
    • Excellent organisational, communication and project coordination skills.
    • Experience supporting budgets, project administration or funding activity, or the willingness to develop these skills.A passion for culture, creativity and creating experiences that make a difference to communities

    This role is fixed term for the purpose of Supporting Events and will end December 2028
