    We are looking for organised and proactive Project Administrators for Education to join our Education Service.This is an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of education initiatives that positively impact schools, colleges, early years settings, and learners across the city.

    The role

    Working alongside senior leaders and reporting to the Business Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective coordination and administration of projects, meetings, communications, and events that support educational outcomes for children and young people.

    As the Project Administrator for Education, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Education Service, helping to ensure projects, meetings and communications run smoothly.You will manage diaries and Outlook calendars, monitor shared inboxes and respond to enquiries, and act as a key point of contact for schools, colleges, early years settings and other partners.

    You will organise and support a variety of meetings by arranging venues, preparing agendas and meeting papers, taking accurate minutes, tracking actions and ensuring all documentation is circulated in a timely manner. You will also maintain up-to-date contact databases and membership lists for boards and partnership groups.

    The role will involve producing a range of documents and reports using Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheets, presentations, governance reports and educational bulletins.

    We are looking for someone who is:

    Highly organised with excellent time management skills, confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.

    Able to build effective working relationships with education, health, and social care partners, proactive, adaptable, and solutions focused.

    Experience engaging with stakeholders within the education sector would be advantageous.

    Comfortable working independently and using their own initiative and also a collaborative team player.

    Experienced in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

    You will be educated to Level 3 and hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent). No specific professional qualification is required.
