You will also lead the team to ensure compliance with local and national quality standards and ensure that this is recorded and evidenced.

About the role

As a team leader, you will oversee the work of the whole team and ensure they deliver high quality support to people using our service, working in partnership with other professionals and agencies. You will be required to formally supervise staff, administer medication, assist with compiling the rota, support with training and sickness management, and take on a key role, such as health and safety co-ordinator, or medication co-ordinator.

You will be required to work flexibly within our service. This role does not require you to work Bank holidays or weekends. However, if you do work a weekend day you get a day off in lieu during the week.

You will also be required to complete waking night checks a couple of times during the year.

You will be expected to promote good practice and consistently high standards of support, by providing formal supervision in line with the policies and procedures of the organisation, to nominated junior staff.

Participate in improving the quality of the service experienced by the people we support, through developing robust support plans which are implemented and then reviewed regularly, completing audit processes aiming to continually improve the service experience of the people we support.
