What is the job role?

Are you organised and detail-focused with a commitment to providing a high-quality support service? We are looking for a full-time Senior Administrator to join our growing Learner Services team. You'll be supporting the work of Coventry Learns to provide courses to the residents of the city. This varied role includes supporting wider aspects of administration work, which will include ensuring learners receive correct information/advice, raising/paying orders, supporting at enrolment sessions, maintaining spreadsheets, working flexibly to cover reception/other venues and any other duties expected of administration staff.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include accurately inputting and maintaining data, providing Management Information Systems (MIS) support to internal staff, enrolling learners onto relevant MIS platforms, and ensuring all learner and organisational records are maintained accurately and in compliance with internal procedures.

All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such, appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Who are we looking for?

You should be able to produce high-quality documents in various formats, including spreadsheets. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members, learners and other internal and external stakeholders.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. They will be responsible for maintaining learner and organisational records across MIS systems, where precise data entry and thorough record management are critical to ensuring data integrity, compliance, and the effective delivery of services.
