Administrative Assistant (Legal)

£25,949 - £25,989 per annum (pay award pending)

Mansfield District Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join the team and contribute to our success while gaining invaluable experience and fostering personal and professional growth.

We're searching for an Administrative Assistant to take on a stimulating workload that will include supporting both contentious and non-contentious tasks. From Right to Buy sales to debt recovery and housing-related court proceedings, you'll be engaged in a variety of projects. Additionally, you'll provide crucial administrative and case work support, responding to requests for information, assist with land boundary queries, conduct legal research, keeping accurate records of monies received from court cases/costs, and draft legal documents and court paperwork. There's also the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues on more complex cases.

As a key member of our in-house Legal and Information Governance teams, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a diverse array of legal disciplines. Our supportive environment ensures that you'll be involved in supporting all aspects of cases, providing you with a solid foundation in legal practice. If you possess excellent communication and research skills, we'll provide the guidance and support you need to thrive.
