We are looking for three experienced Housing Officers to join our Housing Management Team, who provide&nbsp;an excellent tenancy and estate management service to&nbsp;our local community.
&nbsp;
As a Housing Officer, you will manage a local patch of properties in the Ashfield district.&nbsp;You will deal with all aspects of tenancy and estate management including providing advice and support to sustain tenancies, working in partnership with stakeholders, and taking enforcement action when necessary.
&nbsp;
The role involves mainly working out on our estates in the district, visiting customers in their own home, and establishing good relationships across the community. You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, as well as the preparation of legal documentation and attendance at Court.
&nbsp;
You must be organised and able to manage and prioritise a diverse workload with competing demands, be flexible to respond to unplanned situations and possess the problem-solving skills needed to deal with issues at pace and with accuracy.
&nbsp;
The ideal candidate must have:&nbsp;&nbsp;

<li>Experience of working in social housing (Council/Housing Association/Registered Social Housing) in a similar role.</li>
<li>Up-to-date knowledge of housing practice and current social housing issues.</li>
<li>Experience of working with the public and liaising with a range of stakeholders (voluntary/statutory and partner agencies).</li>
<li>The ability to remain calm under pressure and to manage challenging situations.</li>
<li>Experience of working within a team and proactively work towards joint targets.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills at all levels, excellent IT Skills and be proficient in professional letter writing.</li>

A great opportunity has arisen to be involved in the assistance of managing key Council facilities within the District of Ashfield, West Nottinghamshire. We are an ambitious District Authority based in Kirkby in Ashfield, within easy reach of Nottingham, Sheffield and Chesterfield.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated individual&nbsp;to join our Facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of various facilities management services including building cleaning, caretaking, building management systems and facilities contracts. You will be required to assist in the management of the Facilities staff based at Central Offices and within the Ashfield district. The role also requires the ability to assist with the operational management of off-street car parking within the Ashfield district, as part of the county wide Notts Parking Partnership Agreement.

Theatre Technician

Mansfield District Council is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced full-time Theatre Technician to join the Palace Theatre Technical team on a maternity cover contract.
We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for theatre and the technical expertise to support a wide range of performances. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of events on our busy main stage, as well as occasionally supporting activities at Mansfield Museum or offsite venues.
As part of the role, you will provide technical support for incoming professional productions, amateur companies, and dance or performance school shows. You will be responsible for briefing visiting technical teams and performers on health and safety procedures, operating and managing lighting systems during events, and offering technical expertise in sound, AV, stage management, and ideally rigging.
We are seeking someone with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in theatre lighting, together with some experience in sound, AV, stage work, and preferably rigging. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will liaise with visiting companies and performers to ensure their technical needs are met. A proactive and flexible approach is also important, as you will be working in a busy theatre environment.
This is a full-time maternity cover position, with hours that are variable in line with the demands of the theatre’s performance schedule.
