This is an opportunity to join the Social Care & Education Application Support Team as an Application Support Officer. We have two posts available, one will focus primarily on Children’s Social Care, the other on Education.

We provide support to ICT systems used by Social Care and Education services which currently includes Liquidlogic (System C) LCS/EHM/EYES/LAS/ContrOCC.

We support system user queries, investigate and resolve issues and work with end users to improve data quality. We are continually looking to improve and make the applications we support more efficient and user friendly wherever possible.

What will you be doing?

This role is varied but will primarily focus on helpdesk work, supporting end users with system issues and queries.

You will be required to develop new forms and processes to meet the needs of the service, as directed by the Senior Application Support Officers. Full training on how to use the systems will be provided to the successful applicant.

We are looking for someone who is keen to work as part of a supportive team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Attention to detail is an important part of this role, as is the ability to prioritise a variety of incoming tasks whilst managing a busy workload.

This position is open to office and home working. When service needs arise, you will be expected to work in City Hall.
