Part-time (14.8 hours) Fixed Term Contract until January 2027
Are you a Senior Practitioner with a drive for motivating and supporting newly qualified social workers (NQSWs) to thrive in their early careers? Do you believe in the power of relational practice and reflective learning? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Social Work Academy as a Senior Practitioner on a 3-month Fixed Term Contract
As a Senior Practitioner in the Social Work Academy you will play a key role in supporting NQSWs through their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE). You'll help ensure they receive the right guidance, learning opportunities, and reflective space to grow into confident, competent practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide group and individual reflective supervision to NQSWs.
- Facilitate and co-deliver learning workshops and development sessions.
- Contribute to the planning and development of the ASYE programme.
- Support NQSWs in building strong relational practice and professional resilience.
- Work collaboratively within the Centre for Professional Excellence to foster a learning culture.
Please note the salary quoted is the annual figure and the salary will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis to reflect the contract length.
