MARKET CLEANER (12 HOURS PER WEEK) 
GRADE 1 £12.65 PER HOUR
We are looking to recruit a reliable and trustworthy person to join the cleaning team at the Council’s famous Fleetwood Market.
You will operate as a member of the team which provides cleaning services throughout the building. The hours of work are 4.30pm to 7.30pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The role involves some lifting and carrying and applicants should be physically able to carry out the required duties in this respect.
Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment would be an advantage and you need to be well organised, with the ability to follow procedures and work unsupervised, taking a pride in your work.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner who will ensure our Council buildings are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for staff, visitors, and community events.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, public areas, toilets, and kitchen facilities</li>
<li>Emptying bins and recycling points</li>
<li>Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting as required</li>
<li>Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout Council buildings</li>
<li>Reporting any maintenance or health &amp; safety issues</li>
<li>Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Previous cleaning experience</li>
<li>Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>
<li>Reliability and punctuality</li>
<li>Flexibility to work additional hours if required</li>
</ul>
Hours of Work
9.5 hours per week, worked as follows:

<li>5pm – 7.00pm Monday to Thursday</li>
<li>5pm – 6.30pm Friday&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
