About the Role
As Landlord Services Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering housing management services that meet the needs of tenants and leaseholders across Charnwood. Reporting to the Head of Landlord Services, you’ll lead a team of dedicated professionals and ensure services are delivered to the highest standards of performance, financial accountability, and customer care.
Your responsibilities will include:

<li>Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory landlord obligations.</li>
<li>Developing and implementing policies.</li>
<li>Driving service improvement and ensuring value for money.</li>

Essential qualifications and experience:

<li>Level 4 housing qualification or willingness to obtain.</li>
<li>Proven management experience in housing services.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of tenancy law and income recovery.</li>
<li>Budget management and performance improvement expertise.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work out-of-hours and travel across the Borough.</li>

This is an exciting opportunity! We are looking for an experienced Domestic Abuse Advanced Practitioner who can provide domestic abuse support to survivors and people who use harmful behaviours within Rutland. 
This is a new post and is an opportunity for the successful applicant to help shape service delivery for survivors and people who use harmful behaviours.

About you…
To be successful in the role you will need:

<li>Professional qualification with a membership of a professional body/NVQ Level 4 qualification or minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the field.</li>
<li>Understand the issues and the impact that domestic abuse can have on individuals and families</li>
<li>Knowledge of domestic abuse legislation and how it can be used to support individual’s and families</li>
<li>Ability to engage individuals and families at points of crisis</li>
<li>Ability to work across service areas and with partner agencies to ensure safeguarding is in place</li>
</ul>
About the role… This is a varied role that would suit an individual who has sound knowledge in domestic abuse support and legislation.
Your skills and experience can make a significant difference to our community and the role is a diverse role working across adults and children’s services, if you would like a good work life balance and to truly make difference, then this role could be for you.
The role will require you to be able to work flexibly, which will include evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of our children and young people.
Please note the successful candidate will require a full driving licence to travel around Rutland and the wider area.
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

<li>Lead and provide professional technical responses to development applications ensuring that drainage systems are sustainable and sufficiently effective in protecting communities from flooding.</li>
<li>Liasing with applicants to promote the implementation of sustainable drainage systems on new developments.</li>
<li>Work with developers and landowners to regulate activity on ordinary watercourses, ensuring that the designs of works are appropriate, sustainable, and do not adversely impact flow within watercourses.</li>
