The Community Equipment service provides both daily living equipment and nursing equipment to people in need living in the Sefton geographical area.&nbsp; You will assist in providing an effective and efficient equipment loan service to disabled people of all ages, including children, to support them in developing their full potential and maintaining their health and independence.
The post supervises a team of 10 Stores staff, within various positions with the stores area. Also to support an apprentice store person. You will be responsible &nbsp;&nbsp;ensuring deliveries and returned equipment is completed efficiently and that the team are trained in order to complete their roles.&nbsp; The postholder will provide supervision to all team members and together with other supervisory colleagues will contribute to planning of day-to-day work and development of the service.

Assistant Asset Surveyor
About the Role:
This is a key role working within a multi-disciplinary Asset Management Team to provide a broad asset management function including landlord and tenant, compulsory purchase, valuation, and surveying services relating to all land and property matters.
You would assist on a broad asset management function relating to the Council's wide and varied property portfolio, and to meet the Council's strategic Asset Management objectives whilst supporting regeneration, housing and highways schemes including the acquisition of properties by agreement, by auction or under compulsory purchase legislation.
You would advise officers and members of the public on Council property ownership and related matters and undertake negotiations on minor property matters with professionals, companies, tenants, and members of the public.
A requirement to undertake the disposal of minor assets to deliver the Councils land and property disposals programme whilst assisting with the management of the Authority's leased property portfolio, which incorporates rental assessment, negotiating new leases, lease terminations, rent reviews, subletting’s, and assignments, in accordance with the Landlord and Tenant Acts and RICS regulations. Further ensuring they are managed effectively and in accordance with the Council's strategic aims.

Sefton Council is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Complaints Manager to join our Corporate Service and oversee the Council’s complaints process, including statutory complaints processes for both Integrated Adults and Social Care Services and Children’s Social Care.
Reporting to the Service Manager for Policy &amp; Compliance, the post holder will be responsible for leading and managing a small team that receive and respond to customer feedback, complaints and other service enquires ensuring compliance with statute and associated regulations, ensuring all customers receive a high-quality and timely response.
As the key Link Officer for the LGSCO, the post holder will be required to keep up to date with all relevant policy and legislative changes, therefore a good working knowledge of complaints, associated procedures and statutory complaint legislation is essential.
In addition, a key part of this role it to share insights from compliments and complaints across the Council to help inform, shape and improve future service delivery.
