The role will have.  </p>\n\n<p>Core responsibilities will include:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Preparing and monitoring an annual budget of over two million pounds. </li>\n\t<li>Monthly reconciliation of accounts with ESCC, bank statement and P-card</li>\n\t<li>Ordering resources, processing invoices and BACs payments</li>\n\t<li>Responsibility for recruitment and HR matters as well as maintaining the single central record</li>\n\t<li>Line management of a team of office staff, a finance assistant, midday staff and wraparound care staff.</li>\n\t<li>Purchasing services and maintaining contracts.</li>\n\t<li>Liaising with the Schools Finance Team of the Local Authority.</li>\n\t<li>Attending Governors’ meetings to present budget monitoring and expenditure reports.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>This is a permanent, term time only role working 4 days per week from 8.30am to 4.30pm (exact days to be negotiated).<br>\n<br>\nAs you will be working around children, you will need to have an enhanced DBS check, as well as the usual references to be employed.<br>\nStart Date: 3rd March 2025.<br>\n<br>\nApplicants can visit the school prior to applying to meet with the Headteacher and Deputy Head to discuss the role in more detail.
