  • Offer support and advice to businesses and landowners to tackle issues affecting them.
  • Report defective signs, road markings, and abandoned vehicles.

What We Offer:

  • Professional Development: Opportunities for career development linked to many roles.
  • Pension Scheme: Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Free Parking: Available for all employees.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Assertive yet polite individuals when dealing with the public.
  • A calm and professional approach in challenging situations.
  • Experience in customer service is highly valued.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen observation skills to identify and report issues.
  • A valid driving licence is required.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to a standard DBS check.

Join Us: If you enjoy working outdoors and care about your local environment, this is the job for you! We are seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Street Wardens. Every day is different in this role, and you will be out in the community making a real difference.

About the Council: Charnwood is one of the largest district councils in the country based on population, serving around 183,000 people.
