This role will allow you to be part of a team making a real difference to the lives of our service users, promoting personal independence and safety in their daily lives. In this role you will be:</p><p>Dealing sensitively with customers (some who are vulnerable adults) and their families or carers, dealing appropriately with customer complaints and gathering customer feedback whilst ensuring that these are recorded appropriately and passed onto managers for action.</p><p>Processing new referrals and enquiries and maintaining accurate client and organisational data using the relevant data entry electronic storage systems.</p><p>Providing a limited casework service including advice, information, and support to service users and provide clear responses to customers.</p><p>Dealing with payments, ensuring that correct payment has been received or made for services HMO licensing. Use the financial system to input and monitor payments. Monitor budgets and liaise with payments team when necessary to resolve queries.</p><p>We can offer flexible working, with an office location in Hove and options for hybrid working. The key tasks will be:</p><p>Tracing and repairing leaks<br>&nbsp;Detecting, locating and diagnosing faults and providing written reports where necessary<br>&nbsp;Installing and repairing pipe work, tanks, cylinders, fixtures and fittings and sanitaryware (baths, WC pans, cisterns and wash hand basins etc).<br>&nbsp;Making good to finishes including patching in tiles, removing and refixing panels and applying silicone sealant.</p><p>Our residents come from a variety of backgrounds and some are vulnerable so you will need to be comfortable interacting with a wide range of people.</p><p>Our team members say they enjoy working in Housing Repairs because “Every day is completely different, we really get a chance to help people from the local community and it feels great to have made a difference at the end of the day”.</p><p>In return for your skills and hard work, we offer:</p><p>A standard working week of 37 hours per week plus 5.5 hours of contracted overtime (Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17.00).
