Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HiVE Pathways Coordinator to join the Connected Communities team. This exciting role will help develop and deliver innovative HiVE learning experiences that connect schools, learners, educators and employers, creating clear pathways into further education, training, apprenticeships and employment.
Reporting to the Team Leader (BG STEM Facilitation Project), you will build strong partnerships with schools, further and higher education providers, training organisations and employers, while coordinating engaging STEM activities, workshops, taster sessions and learning programmes. You will support the delivery of HiVE Hubs and mini-HiVE Hubs across Blaenau Gwent, helping learners develop the skills, confidence and aspirations needed to access future career opportunities.
The successful candidate will have experience of teaching, training, facilitation or workshop delivery, strong stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for widening participation in STEM and reducing barriers for underrepresented groups. You will be confident working with a wide range of partners and committed to creating inclusive learner experiences that inspire progression into further learning, apprenticeships and local careers.
