About the roleOur Development Management &amp; Enforcement service is part of the Growth and Regeneration service group within the Place and Economy directorate. About the roleWe are currently seeking a passionate and highly motivated Leisure Manager to join our busy NN Leisure Active Communities Team. Providing management support to the Wellbeing Walks programme which has various walks across North Northants and over 130 + walk volunteers and the SHAPE Dance programme for all ages and 2 annual shows a year.Be responsible for the co-ordination and development of the local NN Sports Network to provide opportunities for sports clubs to grow and develop by providing advice and support for funding, training and governance.You will work alongside many different partners and foster strong relationships to achieve this, for example with Northamptonshire Sport, NGB’s, Local Clubs, Schools, Community Safety, Police, VCSE groups, local companies, diverse community groups etc.You will ensure that all sessions and programmes comply with health and safety standards and that Safeguarding policies and procedures are robust and adhered to as the safety of all participants and staff will be paramount.About youIn order to be considered for this role you'll have proven experience of managing a successful delivery team in this field, hold a Level 5 or have equivalent experience in management of Sport, Play or Health programmes and at least hold one level 2 NGB coaching/instructing qualification.
