The Post
We are looking for a Complaints Investigator to work in our Complaints and Casework team. The role will ensure we deliver a high quality complaints service to customers and the Council. You will be responsible for undertaking corporate and where required statutory complaint investigations in accordance with relevant policies and legislation. You will work with a great team in the Democratic and Corporate Governance department covering those complaints which have been escalated to stage 2 of the Council’s complaint process and require investigating and drafting on behalf of the Corporate Directors.&nbsp;

The Person

Job Purpose
The Children Homefinder is part of team working to identify, source and commission suitable in house or external homes for any child that is “looked after” and as part of the home making process various tasks/notifications will need to be made, including information management, brokerage and payments services on behalf of CYPE. The successful candidate will join a team with others who lead searches for new homes for Children Looked After or Care Experienced Young Adults. We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Traffic Engineer to work within the Parking Design Team on the design and implementation of parking schemes and the end-to-end process for the creation of Traffic Management Orders.&nbsp; The post holder is required to manage their workload with little supervision to provide stakeholders with a professional and efficient service. You will have a degree or ONC/HNC in civil engineering (or equivalent engineering qualification) and be able to demonstrate experience in the design and implementation of parking schemes.&nbsp; This will require a detailed understanding of design criteria for parking schemes and an understanding of Traffic Management Orders. You will have experience of formal and informal consultation, public notices and be able to deal with objections diplomatically and impartially.
You must be computer literate and have experience in the use of AutoCad and geographic information systems.&nbsp; For this position you must have excellent oral and written skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
You should also have a current driving licence or be able to travel quickly and efficiently around the Borough by other means. Starting salary will depend upon qualifications and experience.
