Band D (SCP 5-7) £25,583 to £26,403 per annum 37 hours per week, Permanent

If the answer is yes to all of the above, we’re looking for a Planning Validation Officer to join our busy Development Management Team.
We need someone who is used to working with customers to provide support during the validation process for planning applications. Working with our Validation Criteria, you will be comfortable assessing a wide variety of information and be able to explain complex requirements such as fee calculations to customers to make sure their applications are complete.&nbsp; To do this, you will be a confident user of Microsoft Office, relish the opportunity to take a flexible approach to work and enjoy problem solving.&nbsp;
We will provide training, as required, for any successful candidate.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, have the ability to thrive as part of a team and be able to maintain customer focus at all times.
It is essential that you have GCSEs in Maths and English Language, are enthusiastic to learn and develop and thrive on providing the best possible outcomes for our customers.

We work with very vulnerable children so we must ensure we maintain professional relationships whilst managing complex family needs and behaviours.You'll play a vital role in supporting families for them to spend quality time together. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic elections professional to lead our team. This is&nbsp;an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our busy Electoral Services team based in Stafford.
As the Team Leader, your role will be to deliver a smooth and efficient electoral services as well as leading on projects. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and friendly team.
Your key responsibilities will be:

<li>To deliver of all types of elections and referenda in accordance with legislation.</li>
<li>To manage electoral registration and Voter ID data ensuring that Electoral Services operates efficiently and with the necessary checking of procedures for accuracy and completeness.</li>
<li>Provide expert oversight of the work of the team and professional electoral advice to the Returning Officer, Electoral Registration Officer, Head of Service, other relevant officers, elected members, candidates, agents, and the public as is necessary.</li>
<li>Provide direction and guidance to Elections Officers and casual staff employed to work on elections, including the planning and provision of effective and timely training, guidance and support.</li>
<li>To contribute and assist with the development of all relevant strategies and plans to improve and progress electoral and election matters.</li>
<li>Manage processes in relation to boundary or community governance reviews or similar to ensure that they are delivered in accordance with statutory requirements.</li>
<li>To lead on the maintenance of information held on the Register of Electors.</li>
</ul>
