We are looking for a proactive Deputy Parks &amp; Amenities Manager to support the delivery and development of the Council’s parks, open spaces, cemeteries and allotments. You will manage a team of Parks Officers, act as deputy to the Parks &amp; Amenities Manager, and lead on contract procurement, service improvements and the development of policies. This is a varied role where you will combine operational management with strategic input to enhance and sustain our green spaces.
About You
You will have an HND or degree (or be working towards) in Landscape Management or Horticulture, with significant experience in a similar role and in managing a team. Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills are essential, along with knowledge of parks related legislation, policies and democratic processes. You will also be IT proficient, analytical, and able to deliver high-quality work under pressure. A driving licence, access to a vehicle, and flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend meetings are required.
The post is offered on a permanent, full time basis (36 hours per week).

This is a leadership role within the User Centred Design team, in the GLA’s Digital Experience Unit. Reporting to a Principal Policy and Programme Officer, you’ll spearhead a portfolio of work to develop policy and evidence, and to deliver green infrastructure projects and programmes. Our team is multidisciplinary, reflecting the breadth of our remit which includes parks, urban greening, trees, biodiversity,&nbsp;and rewilding plus cross-cutting issues, such as data &amp; evidence, strategy &amp; planning, green finance and more.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a good knowledge of environment policy and a proven track record of working effectively with stakeholders. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, preferably with some experience of doing this in a political environment, as well as strong project management skills. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a matrix way across thematic portfolios to align policies and outcomes and will be able to demonstrate how you can work effectively as a team player in a collaborative&nbsp;and fast paced environment. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong experience&nbsp;and knowledge of at least one of the following specialisms:

Redbridge Integrated Care Directorate are pleased to invite applications for the post of Senior Social Worker in our Adult Community Mental Health and Wellness Teams.
The Mental Health and Wellness Teams are a new development in line with national guidance.&nbsp; They are leading the transformation of adult community Mental Health Services in the borough, developing new ways of working with service users based on a model of place-based care.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
The enhanced multi-disciplinary teams provide a range of specialist interventions within an integrated person-centered approach to adults who are residents of the Borough of Redbridge, working with people from their first presentation to Secondary Mental Health Services, through to those who have a diagnosis of a severe and enduring mental health condition with complex presentations including substance misuse and physical health concerns. The teams work to a Recovery approach, with a strong emphasis on Trauma Informed Care and use of the Open Dialogue model. &nbsp;The successful candidate will have a particular interest in these new ways of working and further training opportunities in these areas are available.&nbsp; The services support service users throughout their journey in Mental Health Services, enabling consistency of care and close liaison with other local NHS services, Social Care, and community statutory and voluntary services.&nbsp;
This post would be attractive for an experienced Mental Health Social Worker and Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) who is passionate about developing services and staff to support mental health service users.&nbsp; The successful candidate would be expected to support other senior multi-disciplinary colleagues in the leadership and management of the team, and to supervise qualified social workers, ASYE and other support staff or students.&nbsp;&nbsp; They would take a lead role for Safeguarding enquiries in the team and support and advise junior staff regarding Mental Health Act, Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.&nbsp;
This a full-time post, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm although there may be the possibility of flexible or part-time hours or job-share. The team are currently operating a hybrid model of working across both office and agile community working.
Please note that to be eligible to apply you must have substantial mental health and AMHP experience.&nbsp; &nbsp;
Requirements for applicants:

<li>CQSW/Diploma in social work or equivalent degree in social work.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Registration as a social worker with Social Work England.</li>
<li>Substantial experience of managing a complex caseload of&nbsp;mental health service users</li>
<li>Knowledge of the Care Programme Approach (CPA) with evidence of completing high quality care plans, risk assessments and interventions.</li>
<li>Experience of supervising professional staff, dealing with performance issues,&nbsp;delegating work and resources.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience of working as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner or currently completing training,&nbsp;using&nbsp;all relevant mental health legislation,&nbsp;related policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>In depth knowledge of safeguarding&nbsp;policies and procedures and its application in Mental Health.</li>
<li>Demonstrate excellent levels of understanding of current evidence based practice in Mental Health.</li>

This role is a Fixed Term opportunity for 12 months. The Domestic Abuse Hub is a new developing service and we are looking for skilled, passionate and experienced social workers to join us in pioneering a direct response to children as victims of domestic violence and abuse. You will be an exceptional social worker with at least 4 years post qualifying experience of working with children and their families with complex challenges, and victim/survivors of domestic abuse. You will have significant knowledge of relevant research and practice approaches in the area of Violence against Women and Girls and have experience of coaching, mentoring or supervising staff. &nbsp; The successful candidates will become an integral part of the delivery of the Hub and have the opportunity to influence and develop practice and responses in line with LB Newham’s practice approach. The post holder will support our Children and Young Peoples Domestic Violence Advisors (CIDVA) to offer a menu of opportunities for our children as victims of domestic abuse to support their recovery and work alongside the Social Care Teams in delivering direct work.
