    About Camden

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all. This role sits within our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Team at Holmes Road – a team that plays a vital role in keeping our housing and corporate buildings safe, compliant, and well-maintained. Fire safety is a key priority for Camden, and we are committed to meeting our responsibilities under key legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022.

    What You’ll Be Doing

This is a strategic and operational role, focused on managing Camden’s fire safety assets across our property portfolio. From alarms and emergency lighting to fire doors and sprinkler systems, you’ll ensure that our fire protection and detection systems are regularly maintained, repaired, and compliant with all relevant standards.

You’ll work with internal teams, contractors and partners to proactively manage fire safety risks, support mitigation actions following Fire Risk Assessments, and maintain accurate compliance data – playing a key role in delivering the ‘Golden Thread’ of building safety information.

Ultimately, your work will help ensure our residents, visitors and staff are safe in the buildings they live and work in – and that Camden continues to lead the way in safety, transparency, and responsible building management.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
