Job Introduction

Glynne Primary School is a two form entry community school with approximately 480 children including a maintained nursery. Our school motto is 'Aiming High' and we aim to achieve high standards by providing the very best education that we can. We offer a creative curriculum and place great value on art, music and PE as well as academic achievement. The social, moral, cultural and spiritual aspects of our curriculum are equally important and we are a 'Rights Respecting School' teaching the children about the UN Convention of Children's Rights.

We are looking for a Keyholder/Site Assistant to join our Team.

20 hours per week/all year round.
Our current requirements are Mondays 2.00 pm – 6.00 pm, Tuesdays 5.00 pm – 9.00 pm, Wednesdays 2.00 pm – 6.00 pm, Thursdays 5.00 pm – 9.00 pm, Fridays 2.00 pm – 6.00 pm, but this will depend upon the needs of the service and timings of lettings. The school has a commitment to working with the community.

Please contact the school office on 01384 816960 if you would like to organise a visit of school.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children; therefore, the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK.

Please note: Dudley MBC does not currently offer sponsorship for candidates without the Right to Work in the UK.

Effective from September 2022, KCSIE states as part of the shortlisting process schools and colleges should consider carrying out on-line searches, as part of the due diligence on shortlisted candidates. This is to determine suitability to work with children and keep them safe. All shortlisted candidates are now subject to an on-line check and if there is anything concerning, then the shortlisted candidate will be asked to comment on it either prior to or at interview.

N.B. We reserve the right to close this vacancy prior to the advertised date should we receive a large number of applications.

Online application forms will only be accepted for this vacancy, online facilities for jobs are available at public libraries within the Dudley Borough.
