We’re looking for 5 x Careers &amp; Skills Officers to support the Careers Hub in its delivery of careers and skills education across the city region.&nbsp;

Liverpool City Region Careers Hub supports 147 secondary schools and colleges across the Region to ensure that every young person receives outstanding, relevant careers education.&nbsp;
Funded by&nbsp;The Careers &amp; Enterprise Company, the national body for careers education in England, and in partnership with&nbsp;LCR Combined Authority, we bring together education, training providers, businesses, and careers professionals to improve how we prepare young people for their next steps.
This role will support the wider Careers Hub team to engage with schools, colleges, training providers and employers to improve careers education and secure better outcomes for Liverpool City Region young people.&nbsp; You will implement and develop the Careers Impact System with specific responsibility for continuous improvement and quality assurance and deliver key projects to maximise impact and outcomes.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in stakeholder engagement, with proven experience in planning and delivering programmes or projects, and communicating effectively with a range of audiences. They will also have a track record of building meaningful relationships with business leaders, along with a solid understanding of school environments, the challenges they face in delivering careers education, and the wider context of careers provision and corporate social responsibility.

Are you a skilled, experienced, resilient and proactive Behaviour Analyst who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and young people with autism?
Based in the heart of Chester City Centre, Abbey School is an Independent Special School for young people with autism aged 4-19 years whom may have additional learning difficulties and behaviours that challenge.
&nbsp;We support young people in transdisciplinary teams including teachers, behaviour analysts, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists who all work together supporting our pupils to thrive and achieve.
Due to the progress of Abbey School, we are keen to welcome additional behaviour analysts to join our team. Working through a person-centred framework, you will be responsible for designing, supervising and implementing teaching, learning and behaviour support programmes for children and young people with autism
Main duties will include:
<ul>
<li>Working as part of a trans-disciplinary team to support the delivery of effective and appropriate teaching, learning and behaviour support in all areas of school life as a result of trans-disciplinary working underpinned by an evidence-based behavioural model of practice.</li>
<li>Being responsible for conducting functional assessments and developing comprehensive function based Positive Behaviour Support plans and interventions to reduce behaviour that challenges and monitoring the effectiveness of these plans through development of robust data collection systems and analysis of the data.</li>
<li>Using evidence-informed practices to develop personalised learning support.</li>
<li>Conducting a range of assessments including assessment for learning, assessment of learning, admissions assessments, behavioural assessments and assessments of maintenance and generalisation.</li>
<li>Preparing for and contributing to Person Centred Reviews.</li>
<li>Working in partnership with parents, colleagues and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.</li>
<li>Playing an active role in the school’s approach to Positive Handling, becoming a Team-Teach Trainer (training will be provided, however the candidate is required to be open to this training), and provide training, support and advice to all staff in Abbey School to ensure any use of restrictive intervention is used in accordance with the law and clear ethical values and embedded within comprehensive proactive plans to reduce restriction.</li>
