The team are responsible for enforcing relevant antisocial behaviour and environmental protection legislation, to tackle the issues affecting those that live, work in, or visit Crawley.</p><p>In this role, you will tackle complex community issues, using specialised crime prevention and investigative techniques to address community concerns and you will work is close partnership with other enforcement professionals and agencies to achieve our joint objectives.</p><p>As leaders in problem-solving and crime prevention, your insights will shape strategies to combat crime and disorder, fostering safer and more vibrant public spaces. We seek individuals driven by a passion for community safety and social justice as these qualities are fundamental to the team’s ethos and purpose.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include producing thorough reports and recommendations and building high quality cases that may result in prosecution. Therefore, impeccable attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills are crucial to this role.</p><p>Operating under a trauma-informed framework, our Community Protection team adopts a compassionate approach to enforcement, prioritising individual well-being while addressing persistent antisocial behaviour and crime.</p><p>Expect to conduct intelligence-led patrols across key borough locations, involving outdoor, foot-based work in all weather conditions.
