Medway Council are looking for an experienced and confident Responsible Individual to oversee our in house portfolio of children’s homes (subject to Ofsted approval).

About you:

  • The postholder needs to be experienced in working with good and outstanding children’s homes and have a detailed understanding of children’s homes regulations and the PACE model of care.
  • The postholder will report to the Head of Childrens Commissioning, Placements and Residential Services and will be a senior manager in an experienced and high performing management team.
  • We are looking for someone with a positive approach and a history of establishing good organisational culture and who can work effectively with a variety of professionals across the public sector.

The successful post holder will be subject to a Enhanced Childrens DBS check.

Career Progression Frameworks (CPF) have been introduced for all roles at Medway Council. These frameworks provide a mechanism for employees to take ownership of their development within their post and be rewarded accordingly.
