Grade 6 £38058-£41442 pa &nbsp;2 Year Fixed Term Contract/Secondment Opportunity.&nbsp; The Resident Services Team is responsible for assisting tenants to sustain their tenancies and encourage and facilitate their independence, quality of life, safeguarding and health and well-being on a wide range of issues including housing, welfare rights, personal finance, hoarding, tenancy management, mediation, life skills and the promotion of personal independence. The post holder will: Provide a high quality Tenancy Audit service, verifying authorised occupants of Council property and highlighting the illegal occupation of Havering Council’s social housing stock. To investigate and determine if the occupation of Council managed residential properties is unauthorised, and to make referrals / recommendation for the recovery of vacant possession if it is. To provide witness statements and evidence to remedy illegal occupation. To complete reports and to obtain photographic evidence of residents to verify authorised occupation. Develop strong links with other Council departments to provide solutions such as; access for annual gas servicing, tenancy fraud investigations, identifying safeguarding, and vulnerability risks to enable the Council to maintain properties and protect residents.&nbsp; Where relevant take action in line with the Tenancy Terms &amp; Conditions to combat illegal occupation and tenancy fraud. We are a highly motivated and high achieving team and we are looking for 1 additional Tenancy Audit Officer with Housing Management experience to complete our busy team. About the Role This is a pivotal role at the heart of Havering’s digital transformation. You’ll lead the development of enterprise and solution architectures that underpin our digital services, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with our strategic goals. You’ll be responsible for embedding user-centred design across the council while also driving the adoption of emerging technologies and ensuring robust data and systems architecture. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams—including solution architects, data engineers, and adoption specialists—to deliver seamless, intuitive, and resilient digital services. This role is as much about strategic planning, systems thinking, and enterprise transformation as it is about user experience. Key Responsibilities <ul>
<li>Lead the development of multi-dimensional solution and enterprise architectures to deliver business outcomes and service transformation.</li> <li>Champion user-centred design while ensuring alignment with technical, operational, and strategic requirements.</li> <li>Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and digital solutions across the council.</li> <li>Lead the council’s data and systems architecture, ensuring compliance, performance, and availability.</li> <li>Contribute to high-level policy and strategic planning, including technology procurement and standards.</li> <li>Evaluate contracts and suppliers to ensure value for money and alignment with business objectives.</li> <li>Inspire and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> About You We’re looking for someone who brings: <ul>
<li>Proven experience in enterprise and solution architecture within a large, complex organisation.</li> <li>A track record of leading digital transformation initiatives that go beyond front-end design.</li> <li>Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.</li> <li>Expertise in balancing user needs with technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment.</li> <li>A degree or equivalent experience, with relevant certifications in architecture or digital strategy.</li> </ul> This role will be carried out via hybrid working, consisting of a combination of remote working and office based working. Head of User-Centred Design and Digital Experience

We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our Car Park team to support with the day-to-day running of our 19 City Centre car parks.
The successful applicant will be expected to lead by example providing excellent customer service and maintaining a consistently high standard of quality across the sites. This will include working within a team, interacting with members of the public and keeping accurate records of the daily site operations.
Ideally, the successful applicant will have previous experience in a customer service role with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. A flexible approach to working hours and a will to work outside in all weather conditions is an essential requirement of the role.
The successful applicant will work 5 days per week on a shift rota, working weekends.
