You will comply with our policies and ensure regulations are adhered to, within the School Crossing Patrol Guidelines and Handbook. As a HGV Technician, you’ll play a key part in keeping some of the council’s biggest specialist fleet brands on the road, responsible for conducting MOT preparations, inspections, maintenance, repair, and servicing of our customers’ fleets. Repair and maintain the Authority’s refuse vehicles, sweepers and gritting vehicles including all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, in accordance with the manufactures recommendations. Work to schedule of rates contract times and record all necessary documentation required in line with the Authority’s procedures.You will also have the opportunity to develop your own career, surrounded by a team of passionate people driven to keep the councils fleet moving.For the role, we ask that you have: <ul><li>Relevant Knowledge of HGV MOT standards.</li><li>A Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. They come from all walks of life and choose to care for a wide variety of reasons. Shared Lives carers are united through their enthusiasm, commitment, and positive motivation to make a real difference in people’s lives.The flexibility of Shared Lives means that carers can provide support for lots of different people in a wide range of situations.
