We are recruiting a Midday Supervisory Assistant at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 6 hours and 15 minutes per week (Monday – Friday 12:45 – 14:00)

Working Weeks: 38 weeks
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, Term Time Only
Location: Newbridge School

We pay an attractive salary of £12.65 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our experienced team in supervising pupils aged 11-16 in designated areas during the school lunchtime.

The role will also involve helping to maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the lunch period in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school and local authority.

The successful candidate will possess good communication skills and will enjoy working with children. They will have a commitment to making lunchtimes a happy time and will be keen to engage pupils in play activities.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • Understanding of the role of a Midday Supervisor and the responsibilities associated with working with children.
  • Able to communicate with children with care, empathy and understanding.
  • Enthusiastic and positive approach
