Key Responsibilities:

<li>In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s Finance and Parking Services by using data analytics to inform decision-making across Finance, Procurement, and Parking services.</li>
<li>You’ll collect, collate, and cleanse data from various internal and external sources to create composite datasets for analysis, while ensuring compliance with GDPR.</li>
<li>Your work will involve developing and maintaining performance dashboards, identifying and resolving data discrepancies, and streamlining processes through system integration.</li>
<li>Additionally at times you’ll support the administration of key financial and parking systems, including providing technical support and training to staff.</li>

About You:
<ul>
<li>We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with experience working with large datasets and financial systems. You should be confident using tools like Microsoft Excel, Business Objects, Power BI or similar analytics tools to extract insights and support decision-making. Experience with system integration, APIs, and data transfer methods is highly desirable.</li>
<li>You’ll need excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to colleagues across the organisation.</li>
<li>A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject is required, and a background in finance, IT, or data analysis would be a strong advantage.</li>
<li>You will be open and trustworthy, supporting change and will seek to improve service delivery to enable the council to achieve its Digital First ambitions.</li>

<h3>About the role</h3>
You will be responsible for carrying out inspections of occupied and void properties, diagnosing repairs, scheduling up works through an agreed schedule of rates or where not possible preparing a specification of works and obtaining quotations. You will work with colleagues across the Housing Demand Service to ensure the PSL properties meet the current lettable standard and repaired within the agreed timescales and budget provisions. Assess the issues and the risks and to make decisions to mitigate the risks to ensure the safety of the customer and property.
You will assist in maintaining and ensuring the PSL void properties are compliant and ready for tenants.&nbsp;To be responsible for the Hand back of Homes for Haringey and Councils Leasing properties, leading on the dilapidation and disrepair claims from property owners from inception to completion.
The Temporary Accommodation Service are responsible for the procurement of properties used as temporary accommodation for homeless households and for managing the relationships and contracts we have temporary accommodation providers, ensuring that a sufficient supply of good quality and reasonably priced accommodation is available.
This role sits within the Contracts &amp; Procurement Team which is tasked with managing our temporary and emergency accommodation provision and contracts, overseeing delivery of reasonably priced temporary housing to meet identified demand.
A key element of the contract &amp; procurement work is building and maintaining relationships with providers and agents, as well as carrying out inspections and following up on repairs and property conditions.
<h3>About you</h3>
You will be required to successfully manage projects and work with contractors to ensure work is being completed to a satisfactory standard. The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors is required as well as tact, diplomacy and the ability to negotiate. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to achieve defined performance targets.
Experience with building works, dealing with voids and disrepair. Dilapidation, handbacks is desirable. Surveying qualifications – RICS, CIOB.

Working closely with the Senior Strategic Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Manager, you will lead the development and co-ordination of communications, marketing activity and stakeholder engagement relating to the portfolio of the GLA’s Environment and Energy team’s work, in including co-ordinating the preparation and delivery of this activity.

This role will lead the planning and coordination of communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement for the Environment and Energy team. Sitting at the heart of a busy and high-impact policy area, you will be responsible for shaping how the team’s work is communicated to Londoners, stakeholders, and partners - maximising reach, clarity and alignment with Mayoral priorities.
You will work closely with communications colleagues and policy leads to develop and implement communication strategies that support key environmental programmes and campaigns. From overseeing the team’s digital presence, providing advice on media announcements and co-ordinating events, you’ll ensure the team’s communications are consistent, impactful, and aligned with the GLA’s brand and tone.&nbsp;
The role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with the Senior Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Manager, the Environment and Energy Unit, GLA External Relations, and other teams across the organisation. You will also be responsible for ensuring communications activity is effectively delivered - overseeing systems, channels and content development. Day to day you will undertake the statutory duties of Civil Enforcement Officer under the Traffic Management Act 2004 in enforcing moving traffic, bus lanes and parking contraventions via CCTV. Processing relevant administrative functions in relation to CCTV team such as processing of CCTV scheme permits and logs on the performance of such schemes.
Previous experience of parking enforcement is not mandatory as full training will be provided on the job.
You will be required to successfully pass security vetting through DBS checks level to be considered for this post.
