About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Performance and Data Team as a Report Developer. In this role, you’ll be primarily working on developing reports from different systems using our Social Care and Education systems to support our frontline services.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a wide range of reporting software and knowledge of a range of different services using an Agile approach.
You will also gain valuable knowledge and experience in supporting transformation initiatives across the council, ensuring data and reporting enable services to deliver change effectively.
About The Team You’ll Be Working In
You will be working in the Performance and Data Team with responsibility for providing data to Children’s and Adults services, with particular emphasis on the analysis of complex datasets from internal and external partners, systems and databases.
You’ll be working with Senior Management Information Officers and frontline colleagues to provide usable data and insight.
About You

2. In this role specifically, strong technical skills in common database standards and software such as SQL, Business Objects, Crystal are essential, integrating data from multiple sources, and self-service platforms within Social Care, Education and open source data with other tools such as SSRS, Power BI or Tableau, are also important.
3. Responsible for developing, documenting, and supporting standardised and/or customised business intelligence reports using SQL, SSRS, Business Objects and Power BI. Maintaining and developing the in-house data warehouses and associated feeds and ETL processes. The post holder ensures the integrity of data and creates and maintains the various databases to support reporting and the production of datasets to enable the exploitation of structured and unstructured data to meet the needs of all supported services.
4. Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to and monitored so that all data recording is accurate and timely and ensures the development of quality and cost-effective services within supported services.
5. Experience of social care and education within local government or public sector in general would be beneficial.
We operate a hybrid working model with a minimum of 2 days a week in our Hounslow House office in the centre of Hounslow.

This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for a customer-focused housing professional. Based at our Sevenoaks office, you’ll support vulnerable residents, work closely with landlords and partners, and ensure legal duties are met under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Housing Act 1996.

What you will be doing:

<li>Providing advice and assistance to customers at risk of homelessness or facing eviction.</li>
<li>Carrying out assessments, creating Personal Housing Plans, and supporting people to achieve long term housing solutions.</li>
<li>Working closely with private landlords and tenants through our Sevenoaks Landlords Hub, helping to secure and maintain quality private rented housing.</li>
<li>Placing individuals and families in emergency and temporary accommodation where needed.</li>
<li>Liaising with internal teams (eg Council Tax, Housing Standards, Benefits) and external partners (e.g. housing associations, voluntary services) to ensure joined-up support.</li>

What you will bring to the role:

With planning experience, you will have achieved or be progressing toward achievement of full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and have a recognised degree (or equivalent qualification) and/or significant experience in planning.

Public Health Programme Assistant

<h4>The role</h4>As a Revenues Officer, you’ll be at the heart of delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service primarily within the Business Rates section of the Council’s Income Operations team. You’ll take ownership of a caseload involving the billing, collection, and recovery of Business Rates, and BID levies, helping to ensure accuracy in our databases and that income owed to the council is efficiently managed and recovered in line with legislation and council policies. Hackney Council is looking for experienced LGV driver's to work with us. As an LGV Driver you will be supporting our waste services including street cleansing, waste transfer station, gully cleaning, winter gritting and our refuse and recycling teams. This is a key part of our work to make Hackney cleaner, safer and greener - a place for everyone.
We need someone capable of driving a variety of Category C vehicles including specialist vehicles such as roll on, skips and mechanical brooms. Our teams operate across the borough, with colleagues working throughout the day and night all year round. From graffiti removal to dealing with stray dogs and fly tipping, you will take charge of a variety of tasks that are important to everyone who lives, works and visits Hackney.
Day to day your work will include inspecting your vehicle and taking responsibility for ensuring work is carried out securely and safely. This involves maintaining driver records and incident reports. We need someone able to follow instructions and pass on information to others. You will be required to use digital devices to record work.
You should take pride in your work, have an excellent approach to customer service and enjoy liaising with members of the public. You must be keen to learn new skills and be willing to offer suggestions on ways we might improve. You will need experience of delivering waste and cleaning services and be able to demonstrate safe driving and operating techniques. You should also have experience of carrying out and recording routine checks on vehicles and other equipment.
This role involves working in a variety of conditions - in the open air, in poor weather and sometimes alone. You must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points, valid for relevant vehicles. A driver tachograph and CPC card is essential.
We have a number of positions available on both the day and evening shifts, a reserve list will be in place for candidates that meet the desired interview criteria as we expect further jobs becoming available in the coming months.
Successful applicants who are current agency staff will start on a scale equivalent to their current spinal point.
